To help service organizations in the automotive industry accurately understand and effectively implement the VDA 6.2 standard, and to ensure consistent interpretation of the standard clauses and a unified evaluation basis, the second edition of the VDA 6.2 SIs and SAQs was officially released in May 2026.

The VDA 6.2 standard specifies requirements specifically for service organizations in the automotive industry. This newly released second edition of the  SIs and SAQs replaces the first edition published in 2024.

Compared with the first edition, The main update this time is:

• A new SI has been added for Chapter 9.2.2.1 of the VDA 6.2 standard, changing the relevant requirements.
